| These cute little purses are just as hot as can be right now. I've seen similar versions for sale online and in upscale boutiques that are glued together, and sell for over $100.00. (I made my first patootie purse for my daughter out of a pair of jeans that she had outgrown, but just would not part with. That was before I saw the "other" kind. Mine are definitely different-- I think they have more personality!) I construct these bags with extreme care! They are completely sewn on the sewing machine. NO GLUE! I also use a high quality stiff interfacing to give the bags body-- not cardboard as I've seen elsewhere. Each bag is a one of a kind creation. There cannot possibly be duplicates, due to the unique nature of recycled garments. I may occasionally use the same lining fabric on more than one purse, but each bag has it's own one-of-a-kind personality! More purses to come... |

Patootie Purse with Pop Tab Handle
This purse is recycling at it's best! I've shown the back of this purse
because I love how the hot pink embroidery on the pockets is enhanced
by the coordinating lining and handle color. This little cutie measures
approximately 11" wide x 7" tall x about 4" deep. Shoulder strap has
been created using recycled pop tabs woven together with super strong
metallic hot pink nylon cord. Shorter style strap has a 7.5" drop. Purse
includes 2 large divided interior pockets in addition to the original 4
exterior pockets of the jeans themselves. Lined with a fun hot pink
polka-dot cotton fabric to coordinate with the embroidered back pockets
and shoulder strap. Magnetic snap closure.
