Photo Specifications

Photo specifications:

1. Digital photos need to be in a .jpg, .gif, .psf, .pdd, or .bmp format. The size of the picture must be
1280 x 960 pixels or larger for good quality fabric prints. Send the files to me at the address below.

2. Scanned photos must be scanned at the 300 dpi setting. Scan your original 8x10" or 5x7" photo to
email to me, or scan smaller photos at 200% enlargement of the original photo size.

3. Hard copy photos may be mailed to me to be scanned, and will be returned with your completed
purse. Photos should be no smaller than snapshot size. Landscape (horizontal) photos work best for the
single-photo layout option.

Photo collage purses may utilize smaller sized photos and can include up to 24 photos which meet the
above requirements. Digital scrapbook pages may also be emailed to me to be used.

EDITING: Some photos may need minor cropping to fit on the finished purse. Minor editing may also be
done. (Subject to your approval.) I can also change your original color photograph to
1) Black & White or 2) Sepia (antique brown tones) if desired.

PLEASE NOTE: YOU MUST OWN THE RIGHTS TO THE PHOTOGRAPH YOU WISH TO USE IN YOUR PURSE, OR
MUST HAVE WRITTEN PERMISSION TO USE THE PHOTOGRAPH.

Photos are printed onto a strong canvas fabric using the sublimation printing process.
Sublimation printing is a process in which the photographic image is baked into the fibers of the
fabric. The resulting images are much sharper and have truer color than inkjet printing. I have
a professional sublimation printing company handle the fabric printing for me, which does add
additional time for the purse to be completed. Photo purses are usually completed within 3
weeks of receipt of payment (and approval of edited photos as applicable.)
